Today I have relaxed more, mostly by trying to make a system of Fie’s and Juha’s pictures. I got half way throught Fie’s and Juha’s mostly unsorted :)
This evening Petter, Mats and Andreas went out for a pizza and some catching up chatting. It was nice, but it’s sad I’m only staying in Skien until the 23rd. But I’ll try to meet as many people as possible before I leave.
We’re going to celebrate Christmas in Bergen with friends and family. I’m of course looking forward to seeing them again as well!
Now I’m going to relax a bit in front of the television before I go to bed. Happy pre Christmas everyone!

Yesterday it was the Boom Noël, but I kind of fell a sleep before even going to the Boom itself. But we (the Erasmus) had a great dinner in R1 (Which could have been a bit risky, concerning our history in the kitchens). After dinner we all went to Tom’s (the place looked like a mess today) to end the Secret Santa event that Fie and Nina put together. It was really fun because people had really put their soul into the gifts. I think everybody was pleased with their present!
Today I’ve been packing most of the day, I’m trying to forsee what I don’t need the coming half year. Difficult.
Tonight we went to Centre ville to say goodbye to Pranay (India), that is leaving us because of an early semester start (2nd of January) in India.
We went to the same restaurant where I previously tried Andoullette, this time with more success. Today it was Fie’s turn to try something weird, she got “Jarret” which might be a knuckle – we seriously don’t know. It didn’t taste much, but had a bizarre after-taste of soap (Yes, soap). Everybody (except the Indians, who we managed to lose on the way – funny because we went to town to celebrate them) then went to the Irish pub “George and Dragon” near St. Sernin.
After this we went home, said Merry Christmas to everyone and I came home.
It’s been a fantastic “half year” and I’m really looking forward to the next 6 months here in France! Time has passed by incredibly fast and my brain is stuffed with good memories!
Norway, family and friends are waiting. Merry Christmas to you all!

I’ve tasted super sausages, vin chaud and Chorros (I think they’re called chorros, it’s like waffles but fried and in long tubes. Really tasty and very sweet!)

A cup of Vin chaud (gløgg)
I’m adding some photos of, unfortunately, bad quality. My cell is not really up for the job in the dark.

The main christmas tree in Toulouse. A bit brown in my opinion.
Tomorrow it’s time for Boom Noël! It’s gonna be fun – if I get a ticket!

Last weekend was very good, but quite exhausting. The trip to Piau-Engaly was great! The bus left 06h45 and we arrived around 09h15.After about 30 minutes of lending equipment everybody was ready. The light was a bit flat (pas beaucoup de luminescence), but the slopes were great! Where the snow was packed (by the “snow packing machine”) there was a few centimetres of snow on top making it perfect – and no ice nowhere! In some slopes the snow hadn’t been packed and it was about 30 cm of beautiful powder. Aaah! Love it love it love it!
I could have dressed up a bit better, it was a bit cold from time to time. My Selbu mittens didn’t stand a chance against the cold wind.
We had a short lunch around 13h with expensive hot chocolate. We got home around 19h. Then I did my laundry and met Synnøve and Kristian at 22h to go to the Grøtfest. We didn’t get any grøt (there was no more!) so we substituted it with a kebab. It was Kristian’s birthday and he got a bit celebrated (I’m not sure if he liked the part where Jan soaked him with champagne though).
I got home around 04h30 and got up the following morning at 11h, starting to do the report (publication in French). My turn, FX did the last one. It’s annoying how much time it takes to do three pages of text and images. Sunday evening Malena and Charlotte had a “Glöggmys” party. It was really nice.
I just finished the publication. I’m dead tired and the bed is next on the program – I just need to fix some stuff first …
