BACK FROM HOLIDAY, WHEN IS THE NEXT?
Feb 24th
Our trip to Marseilles, Aix-en-Provende, Avignon and Nîmes was great! Super weather and beautiful cities. Extensive covering of the trip will come in not too long.
The two days in the holiday where we didn’t go anywhere we planned this semester’s traveling. These are the plans I know about until summer:
March 13th – 15th: Barcelona
Easter, Week 1: Skiing in the Alpes
Easter, Week 2: Road trip in Spain (Madrid) and Andorra
May 7th – 10th: Visiting Joao and Tiago in Porto (and the student festival)
June 20th – 28th: Interrail with Geir (others who want in?) towards Kopenhagen
June 28th – July 5th: Roskilde festival!
July 7th: Start working for the summer
The coming months will be great!
But, now I have lots to do! Today there is a QSE project (Qualité, Sécurité et Environnement) that is to be presented, and other stuff.

THE RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Feb 15th
Short day summary: A great day, Cate didn’t show up at lunch, we got worried, thinking she had hurt herself. She texted us after an hour saying she had lost track of time …
Santiago jumped dived and landed on his lip, not too bad, but noteworthy.
Geir hurt his hip quite bad while barely avoiding a crazy girl without driving skills (#£@%€).
Cate and I were just exhausted after a great day!

LES VACANCES D'HIVER
Feb 14th
Monday is made for chilling out, Tuesday we’re going to the Oasis concert at Zénith before we Wednesday morning are leaving for the holiday trip.
We start with Marseilles (and possibly Aix-en-Provence) before Avignon and Nîmes gets a visit. We’ll be back Sunday evening, ready for school on Monday!
What has been:
I had the last day of school today. A real drag, long and ineffective lab session. FX and I mostly played around with the Scanning Electron Microscope. Here you can see the result of our productive day:
Doesn’t it look like fun? I think this kind of stuff is really interesting!

SHOPPING SPREE?
Feb 12th
Inspired of this I’ll do the same, but I’m not talking about my new shoes nor my new pants. I’m actually writing this post in a semi-desperate attempt to justify the fact that I spent a lot of money today.
On what you might say?
Well, after the great trip to Luchon-Superbagnères I understood that I needed a pair of goggles! I bought Oakley’s A-Frame Matte-Black Irdium goggles.

Prizetag: 135€ (a bunch of money in my economic day to day life).
I also received a package from Threadless.com, my favourite online shop! The two brand new t-shirts remind me of yet more money spent, but then again. Two brand new t-shirts! One of them is green, perfect for tonights’s Boom party!
