INSAÏEN

Last weekend was very good, but quite exhausting. The trip to Piau-Engaly was great! The bus left 06h45 and we arrived around 09h15.After about 30 minutes of lending equipment everybody was ready. The light was a bit flat (pas beaucoup de luminescence), but the slopes were great! Where the snow was packed (by the "snow packing machine") there was a few centimetres of snow on top making it perfect - and no ice nowhere! In some slopes the snow hadn't been packed and it was about 30 cm of beautiful powder. Aaah! Love it love it love it!

I could have dressed up a bit better, it was a bit cold from time to time. My Selbu mittens didn't stand a chance against the cold wind.

We had a short lunch around 13h with expensive hot chocolate. We got home around 19h. Then I did my laundry and met Synnøve and Kristian at 22h to go to the Grøtfest. We didn't get any grøt (there was no more!) so we substituted it with a kebab. It was Kristian's birthday and he got a bit celebrated (I'm not sure if he liked the part where Jan soaked him with champagne though).

I got home around 04h30 and got up the following morning at 11h, starting to do the report (publication in French). My turn, FX did the last one. It's annoying how much time it takes to do three pages of text and images. Sunday evening Malena and Charlotte had a "Glöggmys" party. It was really nice.

I just finished the publication. I'm dead tired and the bed is next on the program - I just need to fix some stuff first ...

  1. Are you aware that if you read “Insaïen” in English it sounds like “insane”, crazy!
